The dirty coin represents the corruption of money and government. Considering that's currency is a government issued device, showing how it has become corroded represents the corruption within the government.

  3. 1) colours, snow, fire, the sun, window, books, chalk, paint, himmel street, yellow, cigerettes, accordion, soccer, stars, clouds, letters, gates, key, weather.
    2) the light of the fire represents possible hope that the nazi party has, and the fire itself represents the nazi party. When you get too close, you get burnt.
Snow: snow is often found in during the winter time, and if fall is dying, then winter is the point of death. When there is no mar. Snow makes it harder to get through things. Therefore the meaning of snow shows death and hardships.
The guards at her brother's funeral represent almost a ending. Or the trapping or a thing in many ways. They represent how this is her brother's fate, and he's permenantly dead and how she is going to be stuck in her current fate.
The key that max holds shows a new opportunity or change in a way. When you step into, or out of, a door, your environment changes, and things become different. And keys always open doors. Therefore, the key represents change, and the opening of something new.
